The focus is on urgently needed living space and an urban development upgrade of the area. Around 500 affordable apartments, a nursing home, a commercial and hotel complex and a parking garage with 600 parking spaces (possibly reduced in favor of residential space) are planned.
The estimated costs for the project amount to around 108 million euros. In coordination between the city of Kassel and the Lindhorst Group, the aim is to start construction in 2025 in order to realize the project.
