2. data processing in the context of our (online) survey

When you access our website or retrieve a file, the access is logged. The access data includes your IP address, which, however, is only stored in abbreviated form in connection with the survey data. By shortening the IP addresses, no reference to a natural person can be established. The log data will be deleted after the survey has ended.

We collect this data on the basis of our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, to ensure the proper functioning of our online survey. Otherwise it is not technically possible to provide the survey on the website.

No other personal data will be collected. You can take part in the survey without giving your name and company. Registration is not necessary. The anonymous data collected will be used by us exclusively for scientific evaluation in the context of the survey.

A cookie is set that is required to carry out the electronic communication process. This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of this service. The cookie can be deleted manually at the end of the browser session if this is not done automatically.

3. recipients of personal data

Your IP address is processed exclusively in anonymized (= shortened) form. No further personal data will be collected. The information you provide in the survey will also be passed on to the Department of Information Systems at the University of Kassel for scientific analysis. It may receive data from us or have temporary access to your log data.
